Thanksgiving, upcoming shoots, moving and good news for Broncos fans!

Thanksgiving, The Broncos, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Thanksgiving was fun! Went to my Aunts house and had a delicious dinner and desert. After dinner we watched the Broncos destroy the Giants 26-6 to go 7-4 and only a game behind the Chargers. After that we sang karaoke! I'll be uploading some pics of the occasion asap! My aunts husbands dad loved my husky Sky and took him for a few walks and enjoyed his company. He also had an interesting face so i got some shots of him, and hopefully they'll turn out well, so i can upload them to my website. As far as my website, it is in progress and like i said as soon as it is completed i will upload the link! This morning I also watched most of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I liked the movie but unfortunately i fell asleep during part of the movie and didn't see the whole movie.

Upcoming Shoots
A couple of days ago in downtown Denver they had the lighting of the Denver Courthouse. I watched it on TV and probably should have been there shooting but I was to busy watching the Broncos and gobbling down turkey and mash potatoes! It's a beautiful site, with beautiful colors of green, red and blue. I'll be shooting the Courthouse and other beautiful Christmas scenes downtown either tonight or tomorrow night. As far as other shoots hopefully i'll have more spontaneous shoots tonight or tomorrow night also!

Moving....

Well I'll be moving pretty soon here with Gabby hopefully in an apartment we found downtown that's close to my school and has a balcony! We've submitted our applications and other renting papers and hopefully we'll be accepted! It also has a fireplace, so in the winter we can cozy up next to the burning fire! I will let you know soon if we get the place, or any other place and i'll be taking pics too!

That's about all i have to update on for now. I'll be uploading tons of pics soon!

Happy holidays and hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!

Farewell. I'm about to have some hamburger soup and a grilled cheese sandwich that Gabby is fixing up for me! She's so sweet!

Not to much to update on....

Starting Off
Well i don't have to much to update on. To start of with sports the Broncos suffered another disappointing loss to the Chargers and are now 6-4 and a game behind the San Diego Chargers in their division. Hopefully they can win this turkey day against the giants! I will be going to my aunts house, and than my other aunts house! Should be fun. I might make some beef potato tacos if i have the funds for the supplies. : ( I did however get a canon 430ex flash to add to my accessories for my camera.

Moving and stuff...
Well me and Gabby will be moving next week hopefully to this apartment off of 14th and Pearl. It's a nice apartment, with great closet space, and a great view of downtown. If we move in ill take pics! Other than that I'm still busting away on my website and as soon as its finished i will let you know and this blog will be linked to it!

HDR 57 Chevy Bel Air
I did this in Lightroom. I was satisfied with the results! Could maybe use a bit of tweaking.

Bad sports news, another Denver blizzard, and much much more!

Starting it off with the NOT so good stuff!

Well first off i'd like to apologize for being inactive for a while. I've been real busy with school and home life. A lot's happened since my last post. So without further ado let me get you updated on the fun stuff and the NOT so fun stuff! The Broncos have dropped their last 2 games and have dropped to 6-3. They are now tied with the Chargers for the lead in the division and have a tough test against the Chargers this coming Sunday. Hopefully they can pull it off. As far as the Nuggets and Avalanche, they are playing descent and still in first place in their respective divisons. As much as i love the snow we had another blizzard Friday and Saturday night. Fun to drive in!

New Stuff, and Good Stuff!

Well i recieved a bonus check a couple days ago, and decided to invest in some much needed, and wanted things. First off i got a new battery for my laptop that I actually need to replace becuase the one i recieved is defective and won't charge at all. I also upgraded the RAM chip in my lapto to speed up my computer. I also purchased a canon telephoto lens that is a 75-300mm lens. Picked up a back up hard drive and new 8gb CF card for my camera. Now i can shoot 809 RAW images! Yay! Also got some new Rockies pajama pants, and a Broncos hoodie sweatshirt. Still support even though they've dropped the last 3 games. Next up is Pictran Kyokushi paper for my portfolio prints, and Adobe Photoshop CS4 student edition.

Shooting and School Stuff

As far as shooting I haven't done any shooting the past 2 weeks although I should be! I will shoot away these next few weeks of the quarter and over Christmas break when i go to visit Gabby's family in Tehachapi,California. I've been working on my website in Web Portfolio I class and i have a Lightroom gallery that im pretty satisfied with. Now I just got to put together the Home, About, Services, and Contact page. Should be fun!

That's about all i've got to update you on for now. I'll have more updates next time, along with alot more photos from my shooting! I would like to to Royal Gorge this weekend. We'll see!

I uploaded a little polaroid image i created in photoshop. It's fun i think. : )

The Deadmau5 show and The Day of The Dead Celebration Pics!

To start off on a negative note the Broncos lost horribly 30-7. Oh well you can't win them all. On a more positive note the Avalanche and Nuggets are still hot and going strong.

I've uploaded some pics from The Day of the Dead shoot i was talking about. The event was pretty fun. Alot of bright colorful dancing people, and free mexican bread and hot cocoa. They were delicious.

I've got 4 photos approved for my portfolio, and have found a good border that im going to put around my travel images to kind of give them my own unique touch. I've also decided that im going to try some different paper for my portfolio. I like the Moab photo matte paper, but i think i can do better.
Well as far as upcoming events not much planned, I guess just shoot shoot shoot what i can, and whatever i stumble upon. I would still like to go to the Royal Gorge to shoot. I would also like to look more into fine art photography, and what defines fine art photography.

That's about all for now. Until next time blog you later!

Adios.
